“An outstanding conference that is now on our company’s list as a “must attend” event for exhibiting. Our product exhibit at this year’s conference was overrun with prospective customers. The venue provided great access to extremely knowledgeable decision makers working with nanoscale materials at top companies and leading research centers. Conference organizers worked closely with us and were very responsive to the needs of exhibitors. Breaks, receptions and cocktail events were timed well and done in a first class manner to create a relaxed and great atmosphere for networking."

--Jim Rynne, VP, Business Development & Marketing

“Nanocomp Technologies was very pleased with the NNEC. The interest in our carbon nanotube yarns and sheets at our booth was tremendous, providing us with valuable introductions to many new industry and government contacts for future business opportunities. We fully intend to participate next year with the expectation that we will achieve even better results. NNEC 2007 was a superbly executed event!

--John Dorr, VP, Business Development

Nanotech Briefs Announces the Fourth Annual Nano 50™ Award Winners

Nanotech Briefs is pleased to announce the winners of its fourth annual Nano 50™ awards competition, which recognizes the top 50 technologies, innovators, and products that have significantly impacted, or will impact, the development of nanotechnology. The 50 winners are the the most innovative people, designs, and products that will move nanotechnology to key mainstream markets.

Nano 50 nominees were judged by a panel of independent nanotechnology experts in three categories: Technology, Product, and Innovator. Those nominations receiving the 50 highest scores were named Nano 50 winners.

Nanotech Briefs will present the awards at a special reception and dinner during the National Nano Engineering Conference, November 12-13, at the Boston Colonnade Hotel. For more information on the conference, visit www.techbriefs.com/nano.

This year's dinner presentation on November 13th at 5:30 pm, given by Cherry Murray, Principal Associate Director for Science and Technology at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, will discuss how the National Ignition Facility (NIF), the world's most powerful laser, will be commissioned in spring 2009.
